Boosters For The Immune System

We’ve discussed hand washing and other things to prevent getting sick like avoiding direct contact with individuals experiencing symptoms. Now, it’s time to make sure those immune systems are boosted! 

While you’re out stocking your refrigerators and shelves, keep these natural immune boosters in mind: 

Vitamin C (oranges, lemons, broccoli, strawberries, etc.) 

Garlic cloves (I know, sounds crazy but it’s beneficial)

Ginger

Elderberry

Cayenne Pepper

Turmeric 

Breast milk! (Obviously, you can’t get this from the store but if you’re a nursing or pumping mama, keep going. Your child needs that milk more than ever now) 

Be mindful of what and how much you’re intaking. Do your own research. Consult with a provider, if needed.
