Take Care Of Yourself So That You Can Take Care Of Your Child(ren)

Think about it. If you are not appropriately caring for yourself physically and mentally, how can you balance taking care of anyone else? Consistent self-care is extremely important. During this quarantine, and even after, use some of the ideas below to unwind and have some much needed “me time”.


  • Take a nap
  • Light some candles and listen to music while taking a bath
  • Take a break from social media
  • Shop online
  • Write out your goals
  • Watch a favorite movie
  • Journal
  • Listen to a Podcast 
  • Write positive affirmations
  • Make a list of what you’re grateful for
  • Meditate
  • Go for a ride 
  • Exercise/Do yoga
  • Create a new Pinterest board 
  • Pamper yourself
